Updated weekly

What changed, and when

Changes to the analysis tools, a week at a time — what is new, and what was wrong and now is not. Back to the start of the year, though the early months are summarised rather than itemised. Data refreshes run several times a day and are not listed here, and neither is work on the marketing pages.

Week of 22 SepGW6

Every screen moves to easyfpl.com/dashboard

new

The app lives at /dashboard/ now — /dashboard/my-team, /dashboard/players and the rest. Old links still work and redirect themselves.

new

One door. Opening any dashboard page without a saved Team ID lands on a page that asks for it, and remembers it, instead of dropping you on the home page.

new

The demo squad moved there too, so you can look around before typing anything.

Week of 15 SepGW5 – GW6

Rivals gets readable, and the Transfer Wizard stops over-promising

fix

The Transfer Wizard’s transfer cap is now the plan’s own: one under Single, five under Multi, unlimited on a chip. Single was letting you stage five, which is the opposite of what it says it does.

fix

The transfers counter read "5 / 1 free", which parses as five allowed, one free. It now reads as what it is.

fix

A second goalkeeper could appear on the wizard’s overview pitch. The arrangement is validated before it draws.

new

Squad Strength puts the pitch beside its read-outs instead of above them, and the Captain Race reads in two columns.

new

Players have faces in the rivals tables, and Your Differentials are player cards rather than bare rows.

fix

Clicking a player in “Needs a look” now scrolls to their row and pulses it rather than opening a card over the page you were sent to.

Week of 8 SepGW3 – GW4

The Transfer Wizard becomes five steps instead of one crowded screen

new

One screen per step. The wizard asked everything at once — plan, who leaves, the market, the comparison — four panels deep and most of it irrelevant to whatever you were doing. It asks one question at a time now.

fix

Confirming a transfer actually changes your squad, and nine other things that looked like they worked and did not.

new

Scout’s Take on the player card, in five bands, read in the order you read the card.

fix

“Nobody plays 116 minutes a game.” Expected minutes could exceed ninety. It cannot now.

fix

Three columns were expected assists and expected goals wearing another stat’s name.

fix

Zero is an answer, not the way to spell “we do not know” — a missing number now says so instead of showing 0.

fix

The odds alarm was set for after the deadline, which is too late to matter.

Week of 1 SepGW2 – GW3

One card for every player, on every screen that shows one

new

The player profile became a modal headed by the club’s own card, laid out as a summary and three readings rather than five stacked bands.

new

Four pitches, one card. The draft, the Lineup Wizard, the rivals page and the phone all draw the same player card, with the face on it.

fix

A wildcard is fifteen players against one budget, not fifteen separate transfers. It is costed that way now.

fix

A gameweek is over at the final whistle, not when FPL’s data check finishes hours later.

fix

Squad Analysis: real bench points, a key for every verdict colour, and an undo.

fix

The dashboard snapshot shows the gameweek’s real points, not a projection of them.

new

One difficulty scale and one set of position colours across the whole site.

Week of 25 AugGW1 – GW2

The dashboard starts reading the gameweek, not just listing it

new

A gameweek read on the dashboard: what is happening, what it means for your squad, and what to do about it.

new

A Gameweek Review in Squad Analysis that judges the decisions you actually made.

new

Soft Targets — the six defences worth attacking, and why they are not all soft in the same way.

new

Live data during match windows: fixtures, prices and per-player stats refresh every fifteen minutes.

fix

Dashboard news is scoped to your own squad, and the transfer suggestions agree with the Sell verdicts instead of contradicting them.

fix

A security fix worth naming: a rival’s manager name could carry markup into the page. It cannot now.

Week of 18 AugPre-season

The redesign, and one projection model instead of three

new

A new look. The sidebar shell, the dark theme and the card design the site still uses today.

new

The Transfer Wizard, the Lineup Wizard and the Scout’s Desk as the tools you know.

fix

Three expected-points models became one. Different pages had been answering the same question with different numbers. There is one engine now, and every page reads it.

new

Projections run over a five-gameweek run rather than the week in front of you.

SpringJan – Apr

Where it started

new

January: the first version, the player and team pages, and the League Rivals board. Player portraits and club badges arrived in the same month.

new

February: the pitch — your real XI in your real formation, instead of a list of names.

new

March: the news hub, pulling press-conference and injury coverage in one place.

new

April: dark and light themes.

Something look wrong?

Most of the fixes above started as somebody saying so. There is no form to fill in.
